Simple Way to Increase Productivity - 2nd and 3rd Monitors

An easy way to increase productivity is to get a 2nd and 3rd Monitor.

I heard a 2nd monitor can increase productivity by 40%, which makes sense if you do a lot of excel work.

A third monitor is useful, but not as beneficial as having 2 monitors.

HP G2 850 and 840 are very under rated (5 stars)

The two best laptops that I think are really good and totally under rated are the HP G2 850 and 840.

The 850 is the 15.6 inch version, while the 840 is the 14 inch version.

They have HP's proper way of centering a touchpad in the middle of the keyboard instead of the middle of the computer.

Also they have 4 USB ports, which comes in very handy.

They also have VGA and Displayport to 4k monitor ability.

The back is also very easily accessible with a complete cover removal with a flip of an unlock switch.

Easy access to the hard drive, memory, and components.

I have a very similar version of the G2 840 the G1 840 and just ordered the new G2 850 recently.

If getting the 840 I would also recommend getting the 1600 x 900 resolution instead of the full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution since the pixels are too small at 14 inches.

The 850 however should be fine at full HD 1920 x 1080 at 15.6 inches.

I also know the G3 versions are out, but they don't have the 4 USB ports, yet still looking forward to the G4 versions in the future.

Microsoft Office One Note is Awesome (5 stars)

Microsoft Office One Note is Awesome, especially the 2010 version.

It looks a bit childish with it's colorful template, but it works really well.

You can organize a large amount of information and your to do lists in one software and in one place.

It makes a great to place to store ideas or to do lists.

It even has the ability to password protect sections, which is great for storing passwords or sensitive information.

Also the security is pretty good and not easy to break.

I would highly recommend!

How to Fill Down a Column with Different Values Along the Way

So here is the scenario:

You have values in a column spaced out between empty rows.

But you want to fill down the values and when it meets another value you want it to continue to fill down with the new value.
You know that if you use Ctrl + D, it will fill down until it meets the next value and you know you can also do this by clicking the bottom right corner.

But how do you do it automatically if you had like 100s of stops?

Use the IF formula.

First create an empty top row.

Next put this formula in column B2

 =IF(A2<>"",A2,B1)

And fill down column B

Presto, you have your Dynamic Changing Fill Down.
